I’ve been in the event planning world for years and joined Water & Wine VA in March 2021. I love Jesus, coffee, food, and all things weddings. As a professional groomsmen herder, last-minute coffee runner, and dress fluffer, my role is to make sure your big day runs smoothly!

The week leading up to our January 2022 wedding consisted of guests dropping every day due to Omicron being at its highest peek, and then tack on a looming snowstorm scheduled to hit on our wedding day. A stressful time indeed. Thank God for Emily - she knows how to execute in a challenge. She got in touch with all of our vendors and came back to us in a matter of a couple hours with every detail on which vendors were comfortable driving in the snow/availability if we had to reschedule/etc. She truly kept us sane in an emotional time and helped us make the decision to move forward with the wedding and we’re so glad we did. Emily and her team are masters at day-of coordination. Not a frame was out of place. Everything was exactly as we wanted it to be and the night was amazing and flowed seamlessly. Right before our ceremony, we took some pictures in the snow which messed up my hair a bit. Emily comes to the rescue like Mary Poppins with a bag of everything you could ever need, whipped out a straightener, and fixed my hair… In conclusion, hire Emily as your planner, or as your therapist.
