I’m Emily!
A Virginia native with a passion for gathering people together. From a young age I’ve loved nothing more than filling our home with family and friends. That passion for bringing people together followed me into adulthood. In my later years of high school and college I interned for a destination wedding planner and absolutely fell in love with weddings. There is something about being part of a couple’s biggest day that is so special and rewarding. To this day, first dances still make me tear up, regardless of how closely I know the couple (and yes, I cry watching random strangers wedding videos on Facebook!). To see couples enjoying their day and all the moments along the way is what fuels my passion for event planning. As my husband says, I love love!

As an event planner, I work hard to make sure your event goes smoothly. I handle all the moving pieces behind the scenes so you can enjoy the event stress-free. Your wedding day should be about celebrating you and your loved one with your friends and family, not worrying about the behind the scene details! Whatever your level of need is, our team is here to ensure your day is as perfect and enjoyable as you dreamed!

Hey Ya’ll! I’m Kaylyn, although most people call me Kay or Chef. I’ve even been known to respond to Emily at events since we have so many on our team. I was born and raised right here in Richmond but have lived up and down the east coast between Boston and D.C. I have an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management and a Pastry Arts degree from Johnson & Wales University. I’m a total foodie who loves all things hospitality. After planning my own wedding from out of state, I knew that I had a passion
for the industry and wanted to make other bride’s dreams come true. I’ve always been the type of person who loves planning, whether it was my three-week honeymoon to Europe or a small girl’s night out, I love bringing people together to make lasting memories. Outside of planning, you can find me baking cakes in the kitchen, photographing all things food for Instagram, drinking copious amounts of coffee around Richmond, or snuggled up on the couch with my husband and kitty cat.
