Marta and Brandon

This wedding was so special for me to be part of, as I personally knew the bride and groom before they asked me to help them with their wedding. In fact, Brandon was actually a groomsman in my wedding! My husband and Brandon played soccer together in college, and that’s where Marta (who also played soccer in college) and Brandon met as well. Needless to say, I am the only one not athletic in this crew!

We had the most beautiful day in August to celebrate their American wedding. Following their celebration in the States, they traveled to Poland where the brides’ family is from to have a traditional Polish wedding! Even though the night ended with summer thunderstorms, we were blessed that it held off all day! Marta and Brandon picked the most gorgeous venue in Maryland that offered a beautiful backdrop during their ceremony and the breeze off the water offered relief from the summer heat.

I absolutely loved the color scheme Marta selected for their wedding. The shades of blue were absolutely gorgeous when paired with the blush pink accents. The pastel shades of blue and pink beautifully mixed together for Marta’s bouquet. I had such a wonderful time helping these two celebrate and it was such an honor to be part of their day!
